2. CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ORDERS
2.1. PURCHASE PROCEDURE
You may browse the website and access detailed information about each product.
To place an order, you must add the product to the shopping cart and confirm the purchase to proceed with payment.
If you are placing an order for the first time, you will be required to register by providing your email address and a password to create and access your account.
If you are an existing registered user, you must enter your email and password, and the system will recognize your details.
Once you are logged into your account, you can continue shopping and finalize your order.
2.2. AVAILABILITY AND SHIPPING
All orders are subject to availability.
The company commits to shipping the products as quickly as possible, ensuring that you receive them promptly.
If a product is out of stock after placing the order and cannot be delivered within 10 calendar days, you will be informed as soon as possible by email or phone to confirm an estimated delivery time.
The company is not responsible for product unavailability and any potential delays in delivery.

2.3. ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND CONTRACT FORMATION
An order will not be accepted and therefore not shipped until the Administration Department has verified payment.
After confirming the purchase, you will receive an email acknowledgment of receipt. However, this does not mean that the order has been accepted—it will still be subject to verification.
We will confirm order acceptance via email, notifying you when your order is being shipped. At that point, the contract between the user and the company will be formalized, and only for the items included in the shipment confirmation email.
2.4. ORDER CONFIRMATION AND CANCELLATION
Before finalizing the order, the user may review all details, including a breakdown of costs (taxes, shipping fees, selected items, etc.), and make any necessary corrections.
Once the order is confirmed, it cannot be modified or canceled via the website. The user must contact the company directly. In such cases, orders can only be modified or canceled if they have not yet been dispatched from our warehouse.
2.5. PRICES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS
The price will be as stated on the website at the time of purchase. Prices include VAT, when applicable, and are displayed in euros (€) as the final price the customer must pay.
2.6. PAYMENT METHOD AND SECURITY
All orders must be paid for immediately after confirmation. Only fully paid orders will be processed.
Accepted payment methods:
- Credit or debit card (VISA / Mastercard)
You will be required to enter your card number, expiration date, and security code (CW2). If your card has secure authentication, you may need to enter additional security codes.
These details are not stored or processed by us but are managed through a secure payment gateway. We use Secure Electronic Commerce Authentication Services (Visa/Mastercard), where the customer authenticates themselves with their bank issuer and the store authenticates with its acquiring bank.
To ensure confidentiality and security, transactions are processed using SSL encryption (128-bit security keys).
If payment fails, the order will be automatically canceled.
2.7. DELIVERY: TIMEFRAMES AND ISSUES
Orders are delivered by a logistics company during regular business hours at the address provided by the customer.
Standard delivery time:
- 2 to 5 business days (7 to 10 days for Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla).
Delivery times may be affected by external factors (distance, weather, strikes, government actions, supplier failures, etc.). The company is not responsible for delays due to such reasons.
Upon receiving the order, the customer must sign the delivery receipt. If the packaging is damaged, the customer must open the package in the presence of the courier and verify the product condition.

In such cases, the company will repair or replace, at no cost to the user, any products that have been damaged or lost during transport, as long as we are notified as soon as possible.
Delivery is considered completed when the courier delivers the package to the customer, and the customer signs the delivery receipt. Once the order is delivered, it becomes the customer’s property and responsibility.
2.8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The products comply with the strictest quality standards in the health sector, allowing customers a 14-calendar-day withdrawal period for returns.
The withdrawal period starts the day after the customer receives the product they wish to return, provided that the corresponding payment has been made.
To exercise the Right of Withdrawal, the customer must notify the company via email at mmh@museodeljamon.com , providing the product details and invoice number. Upon receiving the request, the user will be assigned a return number.
Once the user has received the return number, they may send the product(s) to the address specified by the company. The return shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
In all cases, returned products must be in perfect condition, in their original packaging, and include any promotional gifts, if applicable. The original packaging must be protected to ensure it arrives in perfect condition, and the use of seals or adhesive tape is strictly prohibited. If these conditions are not met, the withdrawal right cannot be exercised.
Once the return is received, the company will verify that the returned products match the delivery note/invoice and that they are in perfect condition, complete, in their original packaging, and have not been consumed. If the verification is successful, the company will proceed with the refund within a maximum of 15 calendar days. If the verification fails, we will contact the customer to return the item, with the shipping costs borne by the customer.
Consequences of withdrawal: If the user exercises the Right of Withdrawal, all payments made for the returned product(s) will be refunded, excluding shipping costs, within 15 calendar days from the date the company receives the returned product in perfect condition.
Shipping costs will only be refunded in cases of incorrect delivery or defective products.
The refund will be processed using the same payment method originally used, unless the company does not have the necessary bank details for the refund, in which case it will be processed via bank transfer to the account indicated by the customer.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons (e.g., cheese) that have been unsealed after delivery, or products that expire within the withdrawal period.
2.9. QUALITY GUARANTEE
All products indicate a preferred consumption date and the necessary storage conditions, which we recommend following carefully.
All products undergo rigorous quality control and are marketed according to brand-approved standards. Personal preferences regarding salt levels or curing degrees, as well as aesthetic considerations, will not be considered product defects.

4. RESALE
The resale of products is strictly prohibited for public health reasons.
5. APPLICABLE LAW
Purchases made through this website are subject to Spanish law.
In case of any conflict or discrepancy regarding the interpretation or application of these contractual conditions, the competent courts and tribunals will be determined according to the applicable legal jurisdiction.
For final consumers, jurisdiction will be determined by either:
- The place where the obligation is fulfilled
- The customer’s place of residence

Shipping Zones
- Madrid Zone: Madrid (capital and province)

Shipping costs are excluding VAT. Once the shipping method is selected, the user will see the total shipping cost before confirming the payment.
For orders to the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Europe Zone 1, and Europe Zone 2, customs fees will be borne by the customer.
Free shipping for orders over €600 within the Community of Madrid.
Service Characteristics
- Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, as well as during peak shopping periods, such as the Christmas season. Compliance with the estimated delivery times is not guaranteed in these cases.
- Due to warehouse operations related to order preparation, all purchases made after 13:30 (1:30 PM) will have an additional day added to their delivery time.
- Deliveries will be made on business days (excluding Saturdays), and the estimated times provided refer to business days, not calendar days.
Return and Refund of Shipments
- For return shipments due to failed deliveries or customer rejections (not product returns), the return shipping cost will be charged as a new shipment.
- The cost of return shipments will be the same as the original shipping cost.
